About the Cover
The cover shows a photograph of a face imaged through a mechano-optical lens array that simulates the visual acuity of a honeybee's eye. Bees are able to use their visual system to learn how to discriminate between and recognise human faces (see article by A. G. Dyer, C._Neumeyer and L. Chittka on pp. 4709−4714).
