About the Cover
Cover: A Madagascar ground gecko Paroedura pictus emerging from its egg. These geckos, in which sex determination is not temperature-dependent, were incubated at one of three temperatures and, soon after hatching, thermoregulatory behavior was assessed. Incubation temperature systematically affected thermoregulatory behavior such that geckos incubated at lower temperatures exited the cold region of a shuttle apparatus at lower body temperatures. See article by Blumberg, Lewis and Sokoloff, pp. 2777-2784.
