Fig S1. Rescue of the morpholino phenotype was achieved by coinjecting Xenopus fxr1 mRNA encoding full-length fxr1 iso7 with 8 ng MO-AUG. Capped fxr1 RNA was transcribed from linearised plasmid by using T7 (pT7TS/FXR1 iso7, see main text for details) (mMessage-mMachine; Ambion, Austin, TX, USA). Briefly, the original AUG has been deleted and a HA-tag sequence has been fused in the N-terminal of fxr1 cDNA. RNA was dissolved in water followed by microinjection of a mixture of 8 ng AUG-MO and 4 ng RNA in the yolk sac.
