bright dots in the filled cells are nuclei. (B) Lucifer Yellow fill of a
radial muscle cell roughly in the middle of a subumbrellar segment. The dye
spread to the surface cells (radial muscle cells) throughout the epithelial
tissue but not the underlying circular muscle cells. Again, the nuclei show up
