Movie 1. Exemplary flight sequence from owl W, shown from the frontal camera perspective (C1, 25 Hz frame rate, see Fig. 1). The initial stimulus was emitted from loudspeaker 3, the in-flight stimulus from speaker 1 with a 900 ms delay. Note that the owl initially aims at speaker 3 and then performs a head and body correction turn towards speaker 1.
Movie 2. The same flight sequence as shown in Movie 1, seen from above (camera perspective C3, see Fig. 1). Note the bending of the owl’s flight path right after the owl appears in the video sequence.
