local strain from tagged magnetization images, triangular elements are defined
by digitizing nodes at tag line intersections. (B) Strain is represented as a
pseudosurface whose height denotes the amount of strain for each element of
the mesh. (C) The surface is smoothed by the application of a bicubic spline
algorithm. (D) The surface is rotated and viewed from above, where the
pseudosurface becomes a color-coded strain map.
