Graph inserts represent the boxed area, and highlight the mode of the frequency distributions. To avoid subjective selection of bin width and endpoint, the frequency distribution was determined by kernel density estimation using an add-in utility (version 1.0e) for Microsoft® Excel from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
