in fish. The present study provides the first demonstration that fast
C-starts, on which most neurobiological work has focussed, can be used in
precisely aimed feeding strikes (red arrow). Our findings imply that C-start
circuitry can be used to drive rather complex behavior at high precision and
top speed.
