Preparations were from control (C), 10-day cold exposed (CE), T3-treated (HT3), and T4-treated (HT4) rats. Values are means ± s.e.m. of eight different experiments. *Significant vs C rats; {dagger}significant vs CE rats; {ddagger}significant vs T3-treated (HT3) rats. The level of significance was chosen as P<0.05.
