3, Papilio protenor; 4, Papilio helenus; 5, Graphium
sarpedon; 6, Vanessa indica; 7, Pieris rapae. Except
for Vanessa indica, the purified fluorescing proteins appeared as
single bands. The molecular masses of these proteins were between 25 kDa and
31 kDa, all of which were detected by the anti-Papilio RBP. In
Vanessa indica, only the 25 kDa protein was detected by
anti-Papilio RBP.
