In both cases, it takes approximately 15 min for adaptation to be complete. Therefore, adaptation can be defined as a time-dependent loss of either the ß,{gamma}-methylene ATP-AR or the ß,{gamma}-methylene ATP receptor potential. Each point represents the mean ± S.D. of three trials.
