On the Chemical Changes Associated with Metamorphosis in a Beetle (Tenebrio molitor L.)

The changes in carbohydrate, fatty acids, unsaponifiable matter and nitrogen distribution are described in detail during the metamorphosis from larva to adult in the common mealworm, Tenebrio molitor L., and compared with those occurring in Lucilia sericata M.
