The MbO2 signals reveal decreasing intensity with each stepwise increase in gradient field strength applied along the x direction. The natural logarithm plot of signal intensity as a function b yields a linear relationship with a regression coefficient of r2>0.99. Given the linear equation, the analysis has determined the Mb translational diffusion coefficient of 4.5±1.4x10–7 cm2 s–1 at 25°C.
