The black dotted line is based on the observation of spinning rate from Lagenorhynchus obliquidens of {theta}R=1.5 rad m-1. The red dotted line is for {theta}R=3 rad m-1 in order to achieve seven aerial spins, which is the maximum number of spins observed for Stenella longirostris (Norris et al., 1994).
