The generation of H₂O₂ was investigated in (A) haemocytes stimulated with different doses of laminarin (1-10 mg ml^-1) for 30 min, and (B) in haemocytes stimulated with laminarin (10 mg ml^-1) over 30 min. Values are relative fluorescence (mean ± s.d.) of two independent experiments, each done in triplicate. ^*P $≤$ 0.05, ^**P $≤$ 0.01 and ^***P $≤$ 0.001 when compared to control (unstimulated) values.
