When the earthworms were exposed to less than 1000 J m-2 of either UV-A or UV-B, no individuals jumped. But after exposure to higher doses, abnormal jumping behavior appeared. As the dosages increased, the cumulative percentage of jump individuals was significant increased ({chi}2 test, N=30, P<0.001).
