PC increases during treadmill exercise; however, there was no correlation between treadmill speed and magnitude of the PC change. Maximal PC was achieved 20 s after the onset of exercise at 0.75 km h–1, and 40 s after the onset at both 1.0 and 1.5 km h–1 (paired Dunnett's test).
