Wild-type CSPs migrate in the synaptic vesicle fractions whereas SSP and CLP comigrate with the soluble control protein SAP47. A significant portion of CSLP, L{Delta}8 and C{Delta}27 appears to comigrate with the plasma membrane fraction identified by the PM protein syntaxin (SYX).
