The plot was linear for G. natalis {[CMC]/endo-ß-1,4-glucanase activity= 0.329x[CMC]+2.018 (r²=0.514, P=0.0001, N=7)} but not for D. hirtipes {[CMC]/endo-ß-1,4-glucanase activity=–0.298x[CMC]+ 8.588 (r²=0.041, P=0.2, N=10)}.
